Description:

This is an opportunity to read and evaluate literature pertinent to your studies and interests, and also to also study some papers you wouldn’t otherwise have read, and thereby expand your perspectives. It is also a chance to learn more from the literature through discussion and exchange with others. We will discuss sets of journal articles of your selection. Topics might include (but are not limited to): general dendrochronology, climatology/paleoclimatology, geochemistry, ecology, archaeology, fire history, and water resources. Depending on interest, literature selection may be thematic or diverse over the semester.

If you are interested in participating, please email the convenor, Mike Evans, mevans@ltrr.arizona.edu with the following information:

  1. Your research area, and your topical interests for this seminar.
  2. Your availability for a 3 hour block of time every other week.
